"I want to help struggling families in good and bad times . . . to make their lives easier and richer with simple kindness and compassion."
Holly Farrell Lewis
Where I went to school:
I spent my elementary years at East Side Central, then on to East Toledo Junior High. I graduated from Waite High School in 1991.
Employment:
Premier Bank
About me:
My name is Holly Farrell Lewis, recently married my sweet love Dan and now have 3 beautiful adult step-children.
I was born and raised on the Eastside of Toledo, where I still reside. Both my parents grew up on the Eastside, too, and my mom and sister live there now.
Ann, a close friend for the past 40 years, first told me about her plan two years ago. She asked me to be a part of it along with her and some of our Waite High School classmates. I worked with my employer’s community outreach department to assist in the planning stages to make the foundation a reality. As time went on, I watched Ann struggle, carrying the workload with Kara right alongside. I could see their determination to make this dream happen . . . and for that simple fact I knew I needed to be a part of this foundation.
Favorite subject in school:
Reading
Hobbies/Activities:
Reading, playing card games with my family and friends.
What I hope to do with this foundation:
I want to show others the importance and passion of our community. Actively becoming a board member allows me to lead by example, to step up and give a hand to ease the burden and to continue doing more for our next generation of Eastsiders.
Give back to the community I grew up in, live in and work in. I want to help struggling families in good and bad times . . . to make their lives easier and richer with simple kindness and compassion.
Eastside Community Pride Foundation Role:
Board member
Secretary
